Step 1: Dose
Weigh 18 grams of coffee into the portafilter basket.
Step 2: Distribute

Tamp firmly and level with 25-30 lbs of pressure.
Step 4: Extract
Start the shot and aim for 20-30 seconds of extraction time.
Step 5: Yield
Stop when you reach 36 grams of espresso.
