Grown in the celebrated highlands of Sidama, Ethiopia, this naturally processed coffee is vibrant, aromatic, and beautifully sweet. Juicy blackberry leads the cup, delicate rose adds a floral elegance, and a soft honey sweetness creates a smooth, lingering finish.
This coffee is produced by approximately 600 smallholder farmers surrounding the village of Bombe and processed at the Ayla Washing Station. Grown between 1,950 and 2,150 meters above sea level, the 74158 variety benefits from cool mountain temperatures that allow the cherries to mature slowly and develop remarkable sweetness and complexity.
Ayla Bombe uses an improved natural process that includes careful sorting and a 12-hour soaking period before the cherries are dried on raised beds for up to 28 days. This additional step helps intensify the coffee’s fruit character and distinctive honey-like sweetness.

AeroPress develops a little more body, deepening the blackberry flavor while creating a smooth, concentrated honey-like finish.
For the best cup, we recommend grinding fresh, using filtered water, and brewing between 198–205°F.

Because coffee is a perishable food product, we generally cannot accept returns on opened bags of coffee.
